Group Stage Draw for the 1st Africa Junior Kabaddi Championship Announced

The Africa Kabaddi Union (AKU) is thrilled to officially unveil the groupings for the historic 1st Africa Junior Kabaddi Championship, set to take place from December 10–20, 2025, in Kampala, Uganda. This landmark event will bring together the continent’s rising kabaddi stars for an electrifying display of skill, speed, and strategy.

The championship will feature national junior teams from across Africa, competing in both the Boys and Girls categories. The draw was conducted with the aim of ensuring balanced and exciting matchups that will keep fans on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

The tournament will be played in a round-robin format during the group stage, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout rounds. The winners will ultimately be crowned as the first-ever Junior Kabaddi Champions of Africa.
